Thanks for your post. I live in the east coast of Canada. I’m 77 and can no longer handle over 27C. I get serious heat stroke. 🥵 since Paris and Vancouver have similar weather we all complain about the heat.. at the same time our summers are short and miss it once fall is over. One benefit of living in Paris, and France is the much more varied climate. The country has where you have easy access to the very best food raised, and grown in the country. We only get a few weeks of terrific produce, and then we rely on California Mexico, South America, the rest of the world.
Like you so accurately said, all countries have negatives. I have left the US (merci maman) am 72, and couldn’t be happier to be here. Vancouver is lovely BTW.
I never want summer to end, no matter where I am!
Love many things about summer (tomatoes, Cavaillon melons & peaches for instance) but the canicule, not so much.

Also, France is small. So when the heat gets bad, a beach is really not that far. ❤️. Stay cool!
Agree. France is blessed with so many positives. Granted there are negatives but all countries have negatives. Thanks for replying.

Glad to know Elizabeth is back with you.
She’s in Chatetre this long weekend - flea marketing!
Hope it’s cooler in Chartres!
Haha! That’s 😊
Haha. Not really but her friend has AC. 👍
